Overview & Frequently Asked Questions
Wedding Videography FAQ'S
Why use a professional wedding videographer?
A: We often have brides tell us how fast the big day goes by, and that it was such a joy to relive the moments over again as they watched their personalized wedding video. Having your wedding filmed by a professional wedding videographer also gives you the benefit of good quality audio to compliment your wedding video (which consumer grade cameras do not offer).
How would you describe your wedding videography services?
A: To understand how our professional videography services stand apart from that of other wedding videographers, we should define the major types of wedding videos. Generally speaking, there are three types of videography services offered by wedding videographers:
- Basic Wedding Videography – A wedding videographer will set up a single camera in the back of the ceremony, or reception hall, and press "record." There is minimal editing in this process and the wedding video presentation is relatively plain. This is not us.
- Cinematic Wedding Videography – Cinematic wedding videography takes the events of your wedding day and artistically compiles them following the chronological order of events. This process often includes multiple cameras and requires extensive editing including personal titles, introductions, and transitions. This style of professional wedding videography best describes our services.
- Short Form Wedding Videography – This type of professional videography takes the highlights of your big day and artistically compiles them into a short (often 5-10 minute) collage of video set to music.
We offer this form of professional videography in the form of a "Highlights Montage."
